Terms of Service
Last updated July 30, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Racenda. By using the Service you agree to them. Please read the sections on data accuracy and alerts carefully — they explain what Racenda does and does not promise.
01
Acceptance
By accessing or using Racenda you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02
The Service
Racenda aggregates motorsport events across the Baltics (Latvia first, then Estonia and Lithuania and beyond) into one calendar, with results and cancellation / postponement alerts. We compile information from public federation calendars, news sources and timing providers and present it in one place.
03
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
04
Event data accuracy
Racenda depends on third-party sources that we do not control. Event dates, times, venues, statuses and results may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and events change — they are rescheduled, cancelled or moved.
We present this information on a best-effort basis and do NOT warrant that it is accurate, complete or current. Always confirm critical details (whether an event is running, its date and its venue) with the organiser or federation before you travel or rely on them.
05
Alerts are best-effort
Cancellation and postponement alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. We detect changes from public sources and aim to notify you quickly, but we do NOT guarantee that every change is detected, that an alert is accurate, or that it reaches you in time. Push and email delivery depend on third parties and your device settings. Do not rely on an alert (or the absence of one) as the sole basis for a decision.
06
Subscriptions and billing
Racenda Premium is an optional paid plan (removes ads and unlocks the premium features listed on our pricing page) billed through Stripe. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice for future periods. Payments are handled by Stripe under its terms. Statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal, are not affected.
07
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights when using the Service;
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract our data, or place unreasonable load on the Service;
- resell or redistribute the Service or its data as your own;
- interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass security or access controls.
08
Intellectual property
The Racenda name, design and software are ours or our licensors’. Factual event data may originate from federations and organisers and remains theirs. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
09
Content you submit
When you send us a message or other content, you grant us the right to use it to operate the Service and respond to you. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
10
Third-party links and sources
The Service links to third-party sites (organisers, federations, timing providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
11
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. This does not exclude warranties that cannot be excluded by law.
12
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Racenda is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on event data or alerts (for example a wasted journey to a cancelled event). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
13
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. We may also modify or discontinue features.
14
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
15
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Latvia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you other rights. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
