Week 36, 2026: two cancellations Racenda did not record

Racenda recorded 34 status changes across Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania between 31 August and 6 September 2026. Not one of them moved an event to cancelled. That is not the same thing as a week without cancellations. One cancellation that had been standing on a Lithuanian circuit round was reversed on 1 September after an operator reviewed it, and two Lithuanian events that carry a cancellation in their own titles were closed as completed, because Racenda did not recognise the wording. So the honest summary is this: zero confirmed cancellation status changes, one cancellation withdrawn, and two cancellations the calendar failed to record. The rest of the week was routine — 31 events closed as finished, and 11 fixtures changed a date or a venue.

Two events dated 5 September 2026 announce their own cancellation in their names. "*ATŠAUKTAS* BEAST OF SOUND x dB Drag Racing", a drag event at ExpoAcademia in Akademija, and "ATŠAUKTA! 2026 m. Bagger Racing Lietuva taurės IV etapas" at Nemuno žiedas both went through the routine end-of-event sweep on 6 September and are recorded as completed. Racenda's marker table does not read these Lithuanian word forms as a cancellation yet, so nothing stopped the sweep from finishing them. Do not read those completed rows as evidence that either event ran. Where the organiser's own title and Racenda's status disagree, the title is the one to believe. Week 35 described the same gap for the Estonian phrase ei toimu; this is the same failure in a second language, and it is now the clearest known hole in status tracking.

The fourth round of the Lithuanian circuit racing B league, held at Nemuno Žiedas on 22 August 2026, had been carrying a cancelled status. On 1 September an operator reversed it to scheduled, and the reasoning is recorded with the change: the aggregator gonkes was the only source claiming the round was off, and its status signals are discarded under the ruling of 27 August; the circuit's own calendar at nemunoziedas.lt lists the 22 August Ring Challenge round with no cancellation marker. Ten seconds after the reversal the lifecycle sweep closed the event as completed, which is where it stands today. If you looked this round up during late August and read it as cancelled, it was not — it ran on its original date.

On 1 September a source tried to move "LTCC 4. etapas" from completed back to scheduled. Racenda refused the transition. Completed is terminal in the status machine — there is no legal move out of it — so the change was rejected by the transition table rather than by anyone's judgement. The event, the fourth LTCC round at Pärnu on 27 to 30 August 2026, stayed completed, and no calendar page or alert ever showed anything else. Week 35 covered this same round being moved to cancelled and reversed within the day. A refusal is the cheapest possible outcome for a reader: the wrong state never arrives, so nothing has to be corrected afterwards.

Thirty-one events were closed as completed this week, every one of them by the automatic sweep that finishes an event once its local end of day in Riga time plus a six-hour grace period has passed. Nineteen went in a single run in the early hours of Monday 31 August, clearing the previous weekend: the Parnu Summer Race meeting at Porsche ring with its LTCC, MITJET, TA and Ringrajasõit rounds and the fourth round of the Baltic rallycross championship; the Klaipėda drift finals with the STR and both SemiPro rounds; the LAX, AAX and MILSA autocross rounds at Klovainiai and Pakruojis; Saarte Karikas round three at Kaarma; the Ghost Performance drag finals; and the fourth round of the Lithuanian motocross championship. Two more closed on 1 September, including the Estonian drag finals at Kiltsi airfield. The last ten closed on 6 September for the weekend just gone: Retro kauss motokrosā at Stelpe and Latvijas kauss autosprintā at Talsi in Latvia, Rallikrossi EMV VI and the Keila trial in Estonia, and six Lithuanian fixtures.

Six fixtures moved their date, five of them through the Lithuanian federation feed lmsfMec. Three are training days: the Supermoto and road-circuit session at Aukštadvaris went from 2 to 9 September, Socialinė MotoDiena at the same venue from 5 to 12 September, and the advanced circuit sessions at Nemuno žiedas from 1 to 15 September — a week for the first two, a fortnight for the third. The motoball round between Radviliškio „Žėrutis“ and „Dolinera“ Kretinga moved from 5 to 12 September. In Estonia, emfMec shifted Enduro Magnifico 2026 by one day, to 13 and 14 September. The sixth is the interesting one. On 4 September lmsfMec moved Ryterna Mototourism Rally 2026 from 22 August to 5 September, and because the new date sat in the future the lifecycle sweep un-finished the rally that evening, taking it from completed back to scheduled. That reversal exists precisely for this case. The rally then ran on its new date and closed again as completed on 6 September.

Five events had their venue field changed, and it is worth separating them. Four are record corrections arriving from a source feed, not events moving: "Trakai" became "Trakai, Trakai" for Trakai Rally, "Madžiūnai" became "Drift Park Madžiūnai, Madžiūnai" for the third Drift Grounds round, and "Nemuno žiedas" became the fuller "Nemuno Žiedas, Kauno raj. Gaižėnėlių kaimas" for one event and the street address "Nemuno g. 20, Gaižėnėliai 44294" for another. Same places, longer names. Nobody needs to change their plans for any of those. The fifth is a genuine move: the third round of the Baltic Enduro Championship, which doubles as the third round of the Lithuanian enduro championship and cup, left Rukla for Muziejaus 9, Uoginių k. in the Kupiškis district. It is scheduled for 26 and 27 September, so if you were planning to travel to that one, check the entry again before you set off.
