Week 39, 2026: Kuršėnai drift rounds off, eight records corrected

Round 6 of the Lithuanian drift championship's STR class and round 6 of its Semi-Pro league were both listed for Kuršėnai on 25 September. Neither went ahead. The LASF 2026 calendar has shown ATŠAUKTA (cancelled) in place of the date for round 6 since 13 August, and still did when Racenda fetched it on 23 September.

Racenda's record caught up only on 23 September. The calendar is a PDF, and the pipeline expected a date in that column, so a status written where the date should be was not read. An operator corrected both records on 23 September, two days before the listed date, but more than five weeks after the federation first published the cancellation. Last week's digest already flagged both rounds as cancelled.

Kuršėnai still had drift on the calendar that weekend: the Liqui Moly Drift Matsuri marathon at KART3 was listed for 26 September and is covered with the rest of that Saturday later in this digest.

On 23 September, eight past fixtures that the lifecycle sweep had closed as completed were corrected. In each case the organiser's own listing said the event would not take place, but in wording Racenda did not recognise, so the sweep treated the passed date as a finished event.

In Estonia, Võrtsjärve Enduro (19 September), covered in last week's digest, is now cancelled, and Enduro Magnifico (13-14 September) is now postponed; the organiser has still not published a new date. Three folk-race sprints on the Estonian autosport federation's calendar are now cancelled: Aluvere on 8 August, Läänemaa 1+1 on 15 August, and Tehvandi on 29 August. Their titles said jääb ära or ei toimu, both meaning it will not take place.

In Lithuania, three listings on the motorcycle federation's calendar whose titles begin ATŠAUKTA! are now cancelled: round II of the CFMOTO motorcycle drag cup (31 July to 2 August), round IV of the Bagger Racing Lithuania cup (5 September), and the 2025 city team motocross cup (27 April 2025).

If an earlier digest listed any of these among a week's fixtures, read it with this correction: those events did not go ahead. Since 23 September, Racenda reads the everyday Estonian phrases jääb ära, ei toimu and lükkub edasi as cancellation and postponement markers, alongside the formal TÜHISTATUD and EDASI LÜKATUD.

Fourteen fixtures dated 16 to 20 September closed during the week. A completed status is bookkeeping: it records that the listed dates have passed, not that the event was held, and none of these fixtures has results linked on Racenda yet.

Circuit racing looked abroad on 17-20 September. The Latvian federation listed Tor Poznań Finals for those dates, alongside round 5 of the Baltic road-racing championship, and the Lithuanian LTCC listed its round 5 on the same days. Estonia listed round V of BaTCC for 18-20 September, and the Iron Baltic Vaga Vesi cross-country event was listed over the same weekend.

On the weekend of 19-20 September, Latvia listed its speedway championship in Daugavpils and round 5 of the cross-country championship and cup at Lubāna. Estonia listed round 5 of the Arctic Sport MX Masters at Maardu. Lithuania listed Alytaus Drift Fest on 19-20 September, and on 20 September Junior Moto Camp Vol.4 at the Petrašiūnai motocross track, a BEVENTS drift day at Nemuno žiedas, and a drift day at Drift Park Madžiūnai.

The supermoto and road-racing training at Aukštadvaris, whose date kept changing in last week's digest, now appears as separate sessions: 16 and 19 September both closed on 23 September. The same change added 103 past training dates from that calendar, closed straight away; they are archive entries, not new fixtures.

Nineteen fixtures dated 25 and 26 September closed together on 27 September. None has results linked on Racenda yet.

Rally led the weekend. Round 6 of the LMRČ rally series was listed around Kėdainiai for 25-26 September, and BANDI Europe Rally Kėdainiai for 26 September; they look like the same meeting seen by two sources. In Latvia, Minirallijs "Ērgļi" was listed for 25-26 September. Estonia listed an FHE round of circuit racing on the same dates.

Saturday 26 September was crowded. Rallycross was listed at Ukmergė for round 3 of both the LAX and AAX series. Nemuno žiedas had round 5 of the Lithuanian Time Attack championship and round 5 of the ring-racing B league, and MANO Superlaps round 5 was set for Biķernieki in Riga. Drag racing had round 6 of the LSRČ series and round VI of the Lithuanian street-race championship in Druskininkai. The Liqui Moly Drift Matsuri marathon was listed at the KART3 track in Kuršėnai, Sudervė had round 6 of the radio-controlled off-road model series, and Skuodas a U-18 youth motoball match against Kretinga.

In Latvia, the RAPID ATV cup was listed at Ropaži and round 3 of the Sēlijas cup at Ilūkste. In Estonia, the calendar had round V of the Raassilla cup folk race, a motocross day at Saku Tankodroom, and a Kart Cup season-ending race outside its series.

Fixtures dated 27 September, including the Latvian speedway championship and the Baltic Enduro round at Uoginiai, close in next week's digest.

Rally has the biggest weekend. ORLEN Lietuva Rally 2026 runs on 2-3 October between Akmenė and Mažeikiai, and the LASF calendar lists round 6 of the Lithuanian rally championship, LARČ, and round 6 of the Lithuanian Rally4 Trophy in the Mažeikiai district on the same dates, which looks like the same event.

Drift closes its season in two countries on 2-4 October: the Baltic drift final, Baltijas drifta noslēgums, at Biķernieki in Riga, and the Drift Grand Final Fight in Estonia. Lithuania has the Didysis Perimetras off-road event on the same dates, listed twice by two sources.

On 3 October, round 7 of the Latvian enduro championship and cup is in Jelgava, round 2 of the Eriņu kauss motocross is at Rūjiena, Estonia has Supikross at Linnamäe, and Estonian folk racing has round VIII of the EKV series together with round IV of the Misso cup. On 4 October, round 4 of the Sēlijas cup motocross is in Daugavpils and the Kuningamäe autumn cup is on the Estonian karting calendar.

None of these was marked cancelled or postponed as of Monday morning. Statuses can change up to the last day, so check the event page before you set off.
