Week 40, 2026: Pärnu move and Jaunmārupe fix, no cancellations

By Kris Vinters · Updated October 5, 2026

The Pärnu motocross final moved to 25 October and was not cancelled

The Estonian Motorcycle Federation (EMF) listed "Motokrossi mitmevõistlus 2026 Pärnu" for Saturday 17 October. On 28 September EMF edited that same listing: it renamed it "Kolmapäevakrossi finaal 2026 Pärnu" and moved it to Sunday 25 October. Kolmapäevakross is the Wednesday motocross series, and this is its final. In earlier years the Pärnu event carried both names, as "Motokrossi Mitmevõistlus / Kolmapäevakrossi finaal Pärnus".

Because the 17 October listing disappeared, Racenda's withdrawn-listing detector raised a possible-cancellation flag on 3 October. That flag was a false alarm. Flags like this are kept back for operator review and are never published to readers. On 5 October an operator checked the EMF page, confirmed that the event had moved rather than been cancelled, dismissed the flag and merged the two records.

Racenda now shows a single event on 25 October, and the old 17 October page redirects to it. No alert was sent to anyone. Nothing was cancelled this week.

Three Jaunmārupe motocross events moved to 11 October, and a wrong "completed" was withdrawn

On the licences.lv calendar for the Latvian motorcycle federation (LaMSF), three events at Jaunmārupe moved from Sunday 27 September to Sunday 11 October. They are "Mārupes Lielais motokross 2026 / Mārupes kausa izcīņa Mini motokrosā 4.posms", "Retro kauss motokrosā I 6. posms" and "Latvijas čempionāts motokrosā MXDāmas 2026", the Latvian women's motocross championship. A LaMSF news post said the events were "pārcelti uz 11.10.2026", meaning moved to 11 October 2026.

Racenda handled the change badly at first. The move appeared as new listings, and at 03:30 UTC on 28 September the end-of-day sweep closed the old 27 September copies as completed. A fix shipped on 28 September, and on 29 September it merged each pair, so every event kept its own record and moved to 11 October. The wrong "completed" status was withdrawn.

If you saw any of the three marked as finished on 28 September, that was an error. All three are scheduled for 11 October, and none has results on Racenda.

Two more date changes: Daugavpils speedway and Väike-Maarja

The Latvian speedway championship in Daugavpils ("Latvijas spīdveja čempionāts 2026") moved from 27 September to Friday 2 October, according to licences.lv. It was listed for 2 October, and no result is in Racenda.

In Estonia, the Väike-Maarja Müüriku Sügiskross 2026 motocross moved one day earlier, from Sunday 18 October to Saturday 17 October. The change comes from the EMF calendar and is confirmed on msport.ee.

Weekend 26-27 September: fixtures on the calendar

The fixtures below were on the Racenda calendar for the weekend of 26-27 September and were closed on 28 September. A closed status is bookkeeping about listed dates. None of these fixtures has results on Racenda.

On Saturday 26 September, Lithuanian rallycross listed round 6 of the LAX series ("LAX 6. etapas") at Ukmergė. In Latvia, the Folkreisa Vasaras kauss (summer cup) round 7 and the Krosa Komisijas kauss round 7 were listed for the Brenguļi track near Valmiera. These are two calendar listings for what looks like one meeting.

Enduro was listed at Uoginiai in the Kupiškis district of Lithuania on 26-27 September: Baltic Enduro Championship round III, the Lithuanian enduro championship and cup round III, and the Latvian enduro championship and cup round 6. The Estonian calendar listed it as "Enduro Balti MV 2026 LT".

On Sunday 27 September, the KOZIRIS car drag event was listed in Panevėžys, a Drift Academy LT training was listed in the Vilnius district, and #DriftDay Madžiūnai was listed at Drift Park Madžiūnai. The online EVAL Super Formula Estonian championship round II ("E-autosport, EVAL Super Formula EMV II etapp") was also on the calendar that day. Separately, the Topkart.lt season-closing karting race in Klaipėda, dated 23 September, was closed late.

Weekend 2-3 October, and what comes next

Rally was the main entry. ORLEN Lietuva Rally 2026 was listed from 2 October between Akmenė and Mažeikiai. The same calendar lists the Lithuanian rally championship (LARČ) round 6 and the Lithuanian Rally4 Trophy round 6 in the Mažeikiai district. The Latvian speedway championship in Daugavpils was listed for Friday 2 October, as covered above.

On Saturday 3 October, Latvia listed round 2 of the Eriņu kauss motocross at Rūjiena and round 7 of the Latvian enduro championship and cup in Jelgava. Estonia listed round VIII of the folk race and cross-sprint cup (EKV) together with round IV of the Misso Karikas, and Supikross 2026 at Linnamäe. In Lithuania, a PBF Driftlandas drift training was listed at Raguva. None of these has results on Racenda yet. In housekeeping, two older Lithuanian listings were closed as past: the "Moto istorijos keliu 2026" moto-touring challenge and a youth motoball championship round in Kretinga.

Looking ahead, the dates changed this week are the three Jaunmārupe motocross events on 11 October, Väike-Maarja on 17 October and Pärnu on 25 October.
