Week 34, 2026: nine rounds taken back off the cancelled list

By Kris Vinters · Updated September 1, 2026

01

Nine rounds came back from cancelled in a single afternoon

On 19 August 2026 an operator returned seven Lithuanian rounds to scheduled in one pass: LARČ 3. etapas, LARČ 4. etapas, LMRČ 4. etapas, LMRČ 5. etapas, LXRČ 4. etapas, LARSČ 5. etapas and TA 4. etapas. Two more followed on 20 and 21 August — the third and fifth rounds of the Latvian-Lithuanian and Baltic rallycross championships. Nine reinstatements in three days is not a normal week, and none of them were reschedulings: in every case the event had never been called off in the first place. All nine have since run and are recorded as completed, the last of them, LARSČ 5. etapas, on 28 August 2026.

02

Every reinstatement was checked against the federation’s own entry

The nine repairs were not judgement calls made in the dark. Each cancelled round carried a status that had come from one aggregator listing and nothing else, and each was checked against the federation’s own listing for the same event — ar_23399 against lasf_ed59d1b38272, ar_23398 against lasf_7416c57bbf14, ar_23529 against lasf_f642192fcf0f, ar_23528 against lasf_3832b477f0c8, ar_23562 against lasf_60cac9ece3a0, ar_24082 against lasf_e9c93feab2dd and ar_23491 against lasf_5c18e8f439f5. In every pair the federation entry was clean: no cancellation marker of any kind. The two rallycross rounds were settled differently again — rallycross.lv had already published finishing results for the Vilkyčiai weekend of 8 to 9 August, which is about as direct a contradiction of "cancelled" as evidence gets.

03

One cancellation outlasted the others, and was withdrawn two weeks later

Not everything from week 34 was reversed at the time. "2026m. Lietuvos žiedinių lenktynių čempionato B lyga – 4 etapas", a Lithuanian circuit-racing round due at its new venue on 22 August 2026, was recorded as cancelled on 18 August and stayed that way for a fortnight — it came from the same aggregator listing as the nine that were reversed, but unlike them it had no federation entry to be checked against, so the automated repair deliberately left it alone. It was withdrawn on 1 September 2026 on other evidence: the circuit's own calendar at nemunoziedas.lt lists the 22 August running with no cancellation marker, and no source anywhere corroborated the cancellation. The round is now recorded as completed. The same fixture also had its venue changed on 18 August, the same day the cancellation was recorded.

04

Thirty-five events closed, nineteen of them on one day

The ordinary business of the week was thirty-five automatic completions. Nine closed on 17 August after the weekend of 15 to 16 August, among them Latvijas čempionāts motošosejā I 5. posms, the sixth round of the Lithuanian circuit championship at Tukada, Arctic Sport MX Masters 3. etapp at Pärnu and Latvijas čempionāts motokrosā 3. posms. Nineteen more closed together on 23 August after a heavy weekend: Aqva Kart kardispordi EMV V and Baltic Cup III, Humus Paide Rally, Trakai Rally 2026, Rallikrossi EMV V etapp, Vidriži Enduro EMV/EKV, Ryterna Mototourism Rally, Latvijas čempionāts un kauss Enduro I 4. posms and the fifth round of the Lithuanian Cross Country championship among them.

Six schedule and venue changes, and one event that un-finished itself

Six events moved. "Arctic Sport MX Masters 4. etapp Lange 2026" had its date changed twice on 18 August; "2026 m. Supermoto ir plento žiedo treniruotė Aukštadvaryje" moved again on 19 August, continuing a run that had already produced four changes in the previous fortnight; "Latvijas kauss motokrosā I 5. posms" moved on 21 August. Two venue changes were recorded, for the Lithuanian B lyga round on 18 August and for MAYHEM RACERS Legal drift + Showoff on 23 August. One transition went the other way entirely: a Lithuanian youth motoball fixture between "Trust" Kretinga and Skuodo "Bartuva KKSC" was un-finished on 17 August, moving from completed back to scheduled because its date had been pushed into the future after the sweep had already closed it.
